Youth and pro soccer power rankings

Know where your team really stands.

The table only counts points. MyLeagueRankings ranks every team on who they played and by how much, then tells you why each team sits where it does. That covers a youth flight and a pro league.

The US soccer pyramid

Learn how the US soccer pyramid works.

US youth soccer has no single league table. Here is how the levels fit together and where your team sits.

  • Seven levels, one country

From MLS and the NWSL at the tip, through the lower pro divisions, college and the national youth leagues, down to state and rec play.

  • Clubs move, not teams

National leagues admit whole clubs by invitation. State leagues promote and relegate on results every season.

  • Ranked on every level

One power rank method covers all of it, so a state-league side and an ECNL side are rated the same way.

Why rankings, not standings

Points tell you who's winning. Rankings tell you who's better.

Early in a season, points mostly reflect who a team happened to play. Same league, same weekend, two different orders. The same method ranks a youth flight and a pro league.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself.

01

Follow a team

Pick a youth team or a pro club in a tracked league. No roster or club setup.

02

Results roll in

Every reported final score is added to that team’s schedule.

03

Rankings recalculate

Points, goal margin and who beat whom blend into one rating, with a written reason for every spot.

Built for parents and fans

Everything you check after the final whistle, in one place.

Every rank comes with a reason

No black box. Each team gets a plain-English line saying why it's above the next one.
